Greasley Parish Council is comprised of 15 elected Members. Parish Councillors give of their time voluntarily and do not receive attendance allowances. Elections are held every 4 years and the next are scheduled for 2011.

In the current civic year Cllr Martina Lovely is Chairman of the Council. Cllr Neil Hutchinson is Chairman of the Environment Committee and Cllr David Taylor Chairman of the Finance & General Purposes Committee.
